The Research and Development Office at Mendel University in Brno invites doctoral students, as well as other students and academic staff, to a series of seminars led by experts in their respective fields.
The seminars will take place during the winter semester in Room M2.12, Building M.
Flourish in publish(ing): A Beginner’s Guide to Academic Publishing
Date: Wednesday, October 7, 2026
14:00–16:00
- Strategies for developing an effective publication plan and choosing the right journal for your research.
- How to evaluate academic journals and understand key journal metrics.
- How to recognize predatory journals and conferences and avoid common pitfalls.
- Please bring your laptop and feel free to prepare questions or specific topics you would like to discuss during the seminar.

Navigating Research Integrity

Základní pedagogické kompetence pro studenty doktorského studia [CZ]

- Kurz je určen studentům doktorského studia a akademickým pracovníkům MENDELU, kteří si chtějí rozšířit své pedagogické kompetence
- Program kombinuje samostatný online kurz v Moodle v rozsahu 38 vyučovacích hodin a navazující prezenční seminář 25.11.2026
- Online část se zaměřuje na plánování výuky, formulaci vzdělávacích cílů, výukové metody, hodnocení výsledků učení a možnosti online výuky
- Prezenční seminář nabídne praktické prohloubení témat, konzultaci výukových scénářů i práci s umělou inteligencí při přípravě výuky
- Online kurz včetně závěrečného testu je nutné dokončit do 20. listopadu 2026
