Resource availability
The paid electronic information resources are available from computers on the premises of Mendel University in Brno or by remote access (outside MENDELU).
Remote access is possible through:
- proxy [instructions for connecting], or vpn
- institution login also known as Shibboleth
- in database you must select institution login (Shibboleth), select correct region and our university - Mendel university. Then simply use your username and password (same as UIS) - Shibboleth is supported by: BioOne, CAB Abstracts, CABI eRefWorks, Cambridge Journals Online-FULL Collection, De Gruyter, EBSCO host, Nature, OECD iLibrary, Oxford Journals, ProQuest Central, Science Direct, Scopus, SpringerLink, Web of Science a Wiley Online Library
Using conditions
The user is not allowed to:
- use the content of electronic information resources for commercial purposes. The content is designed only for teaching, studying and research purpose and for the personal needs of users;
- download mass data from any resource that evidently exceeds personal need. User can search, view, display, print and download only reasonable portions of the resources;
- modify and translate the obtained data or create works derived from them; edit or hide copyright notices;
- pass the obtained data on to other people.
