Research Integrity Policy Statement
The Declaration of the Research Integrity Assurance Policy is part of The Code of Ethics, which is a regulatory document containing comprehensive mechanisms and methods for preventing misconduct in the area of research integrity and academic freedom. The Code of Ethics declares the perception of research integrity as an integral part of the university workplace culture. Also, it sets out general requirements for the conduct of employees and students.
The Code of Ethics is also linked to the Internal anti-corruption programme, which advocates a transparent approach and ethical principles. Furthermore, Statutes and Rules of Procedure of the Ethics Committee for Integrity of Research and Innovation were established as a control mechanism at MENDELU.
The statement is based on documents:
- The European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity
- Singapore Statement on Research Integrity, which was developed in 2010 as part of the 2nd World Conference on Research Integrity.
