Who can register as a MENDELU Library user?

You can visit the Library rooms and their study rooms and study books and magazines on open shelves without the registration.

To borrow books or magazines outside the library, reserve books that are borrowed or require e-book from Flexibooks, you need to register (Information about personal data processing) according to your status:

• Active MENDELU student. Log in to your account in the catalogue the same way as in the university information system and click on the Renew registration button. Confirm the agreement with the Library rules and the Library user’s declaration. The registration is free of charge and is valid for academic year from 1st September to 31th August.
• Active employee. Log in to you account in the catalogue the same way as in the university information system and click on the Renew registration button. Confirm the agreement with the Library rules and the Library user’s declaration. The registration is free of charge and is valid till the end of your employment.
• Former university employee or the public. Make an arrangement for registration at e-mail knihovna[at]mendelu.cz. At the registration you need your ID card and sign the Library user’s declaration. The registration fee for one year is 240 CZK. For employees emeritus who retired straight after the university the registration is free of charge.
