This is the so-called auto-archiving of the article in the repository, which means that the author publishes under subscription in the journal and at the same time provides open access to the full text of the article in the open repository.
The article is published in the repository in a form that is agreed in advance with the publisher:
- - the article has not been reviewed yet
- (Author Accepted Manuscript AAM) - the article has already been peer-reviewed, it does not yet have a journal copywright page
- (Version of record; Final manuscript version) - the final published version of the article from the publisher in PDF
In most cases, the author can archive a preprint of the article in an open repository. If an author needs to archive a Postprint or Publisher PDF, he or she must check the journal publisher's terms and conditions or consult the Open Science Centrum before doing so.
The Postprint is either available to the corresponding author or sometimes published on the journal's website before the final text of the article is published. Postprint articles usually lack the journal's copywright page, year and number of the journal, pagination, etc.
Do you want to make your science and research results more visible? Ask the Open Science Centre to upload your Open Access results to the Open Science Repository. This way you provide open access to the full text of the article in an open repository, these are the results (articles, books, book chapters, proceedings articles, methodologies, etc.) published in Open Access. These results are published by the Open Science Centre in the Open repository of the Mendel University in Brno in accordance with the publishers' terms and conditions.
Authors request their results to be added to the repository via the Report
